It includes materials such as DVDs, videocassettes, records (discs), compact discs (CDs), slides, audio cassettes, laser discs or videodiscs, compact disc interactive (CD-I), CD-ROMs, software, curriculum materials, and educational and psychological tests. Most items can circulate to UTSA affiliated individuals, and all materials can be used in-house with the equipment housed in the Center. All materials in the Center are cataloged and can be found in UCAT, the online library catalog. A test file list is available which contains titles of tests owned by the Library. Curriculum materials are shelved by subject (math, science, etc.), are on open shelves where patrons can browse. In addition to the library holdings the Multimedia Center also houses non-print reserve materials. Materials may be either library or individually owned and have a checkout period determined by the professor. The Multimedia Center is located on the 2nd floor of the John Peace Library at the 1604 campus. The room number is JPL 2.01.08 (see map).
