Computer Abstracts International Database (UTSA subscription)
Indexes articles from journals, proceedings, and transactions that chronicle developments in computer science, computers, and computing research. Included in these publications is theoretical, applied, and commercially oriented research on artificial intelligence, systems, hardware, programming, human-computer interaction, and other topics. IEEE Xplore
Provides full text/full image access to journal articles, conference papers, and technical standards from 1988 to the present published by IEEE and the IEE. Emphasis is on electrical engineering, computer science, and information systems. Full Text

Ingenta (UTSA subscription)
Formerly UnCover, Ingenta is a current awareness tool that indexes and abstracts 26,000 scholarly publications from 200 academic and professional publishers. Searching is free; however, retrieving full-text articles is fee-based and paid for by the patron. Patrons are encouraged to contact the UTSA Library Reference staff for local holdings of needed journals or to use Interlibrary Services to borrow materials from other libraries. Coverage is from 1988 to the present. Updated daily. Note: An email awareness service is available to faculty members after establishing a free account and profile through Ingenta from an on-campus computer. Citations Only

JSTOR (UTSA subscription)
Full image access to a comprehensive archive to many scholarly journals. At least 12 subject areas are represented, primarily in the social sciences, with new subjects and titles added regularly. Full Image

MathSciNet (UTSA subscription)
Searchable Web database that provides access to over 55 years of Mathematical Reviews and Current Mathematical Publications from 1940 to the present. Full Text

ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Full Text (UTSA subscription)
Provides citations and full-image access to doctoral dissertations and master's theses from more than 1,000 graduate schools and universities. Abstracts are provided for dissertations beginning in 1980 and for master's theses beginning in 1988. Full-image PDFs are available for most titles published since 1997 and a limited number of titles previous to 1997. Coverage is from 1861 to the present. Print equivalent is Dissertation Abstracts. Citations Only

ProQuest
Provides access to journal articles in a number of databases across all subject areas, with particular strengths in business and the social sciences. Also includes 9 major national newspapers, including Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Christian Science Monitor, Los Angeles Times, New York Times, USA TODAY, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post. Complete content of the following databases is included: ABI/INFORM Dateline, ABI/INFORM Global, ABI/INFORM Trade & Industry, Accounting & Tax, Alt-Press Watch, Criminal Justice Periodicals, Ethnic NewsWatch, GenderWatch, ProQuest Dissertations & Theses, National Newspapers, and ProQuest Research Library. SciFinder Scholar (UTSA subscription)
Provides integrated access to Chemical Abstracts (over 19 million records covering the worldwide chemical literature, including patents, from 1967-), REGISTRY (25 million substance records, with chemical structures and names), and CASREACT (3 million organic reactions, 1985-present). Graphical user interface allows searching by topic, author, chemical identification terms (names, formulas, registry numbers), and chemical structures. This resource is available on selected Library workstations. Special client software is also available for campus ownloading in offices and labs.

Statistical Universe (UTSA subscription)
Provides access to statistical information produced by the U.S. Government. Includes indexing and abstracting from 1973 to the present. Significant full text content from 1995 to the present including Statistical Abstract of the United States. Full Text

ScienceDirect (UTSA subscription)
Provides full text/full image access to approximately 700 journals published by Elsevier Science. Indexes and abstracts articles from more than 1,100 journals in the life, physical, medical, technical, and social sciences. Full Image

Provides electronic access to nearly 500 journals published by Springer-Verlag/Bertelsmann Springer publishing group. Coverage includes the areas of chemical sciences, economics, environmental sciences, life sciences, law, medicine, computer science, engineering, geosciences, mathematics, and physics.
