Academic Universe (UTSA subscription)
Select News from the Academic Search Forms sidebar, then select Non-English Language News from the Step One: Select a News Category drop-down menu. Provides abstracts and/or full text to nearly 6,000 titles relating primarily to news, business, and legal information. Includes U. S. and foreign newspapers, wire services, government and political news, company profiles and financial reports, industry and market news, federal and state case law, law reviews, accounting and tax information, medical news and abstracts, and state and country profiles. Updated continuously.

Not so useful for the study of French literature per se; however, there is a section devoted to French-language newspapers and magazines, including the full-text contents of L'Express, Le Figaro, and Le Monde. Full Text
